How long does a Rapid Transformational Therapy session take?
Sessions can run anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours, so make sure you set aside enough time to prepare for your session and relax afterwards. Experiencing RTT is a phenomenal experience, and you will feel completely calm and relaxed during your session.
How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis works by creating a burst of brain waves that are the same as when you’re in REM (rapid eye movement), which is what happens to you just before you fall asleep. These alpha brain waves allow you to access your subconscious mind. Scientists have proven that, when in this state, your mind is very open to change, and you can accept suggestions that the conscious mind won't accept.
Can I get "stuck" in hypnosis?
Not at all. You have complete control the whole time. You can talk, move your body, even get up and leave. You are entirely safe and in a supportive environment.
When will I start to see changes?
There are three types of change from Rapid Transformational Therapy – keep in mind every person is different:
· Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away– immediate changes in your physiology, thoughts, and behaviours during the session.
· Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day or overtime.
· Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away, and then one day, you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.
What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?
If you go back to memories from your life related to events like sexual or physical abuse or other trauma, it’s important to remember that you are not reliving that scene. You are simply reviewing it as if you are looking at it on a TV screen, and I will support you and create a secure space for you to express your emotions and heal in a calm and relaxing sanctuary. You are reviewing those scenes for understanding.
What if I need or want another session?
RTT is designed to give you a powerful breakthrough and create significant changes in your life. Some clients may need more than one RTT session on a particular struggle. Depending on how deep and complex your issue is, it can take up to three sessions. Most want to keep doing sessions to work on other areas of their life and receive coaching to integrate their new beliefs and build new habits and behaviours. For these reasons, other packages are tailored to suit your needs.
What is the difference between face-to-face and online sessions?
Online/Zoom RTT sessions are equally effective as face-to-face sessions. Zoom is a free platform, and complete instructions will be provided to you when you book your appointment.
